I have been playing the piano for over 20 years and teaching for over 10 years. I established my own teaching practice in 2006 and have worked with a large number of students from beginner to advanced level, teaching piano and music theory, and entering them for exams, competitions, and auditions. My students have enjoyed a 100% success rate in being accepted into tertiary education establishments for Music.
I have worked with a number of pupils studying music at tertiary education level such as at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the University of Glasgow. I have worked with a range of age groups from children as young as 3 to mature adults. I have been successful in teaching children with limited attention span and have also experienced success in working with adults with learning difficulties.
